Free domain co.cc for website or Blogger

   Co.cc is a free custom domain service with DNS server wich support websites and Blogger.
This article will guide you through the installation co.cc on your website or blog.

1. First, open co.cc website and in the choose domain name form, fill with domain name you want, for ex. www.yourname.co.cc. And then click check availability.

2. If the domain name available, you will directly go to sign up page.fill out all forms, and click sign up.

3. After you signed up, login with email and password that you're signed up before.

4. you'll be loged in, and then you'll be faced up with the manage domain panel, click set up, and set up again. After that you'll see 3 domain service options :

- Name server (DNS)
This service is recommended for website wich need DNS server to host their website files.
To use this service, you need to know the server adresses  of your website hosting, for example
(on 000webhost) :
  http://ns01.000webhost.com
  http://ns02.000webhost.com

After you know the server adresses, enter them to the name server forms, name server 1 and 2.
And click set up.

- Zone Records
This service is recommended for blogger but you can use this service for website too.
To install for Blogger, click Zone records and fill the forms look like below :

Type    : CNAME
Value   : ghs.google.com

after you fill the forms, click set up.
To install it to Blogger, login to Blogger, and go to settings > publishing >switch to custom domain >Advanced.
Fill the domain with your domain that you've just registered in co.cc, check yes on the direct yourname.co.cc
to www.yourname.co.cc, fill the captha, and finished.

To install Zone records for website, click Zone records and fill the forms like below :

Value  : your website hosting IP Adress

and click set up, and set it on your website, and finished.

- URL Forwarding
This service can be used for website or Blogger, but this services can only forward your website adress.
To forward URL, click URL Forwarding, and fill forms look like below :

Redirect to (URL) :  http://yourname.co.cc
Page title               :  your website or blog title
Frame                   : Up to you
Description           : your website or blog description
Keywords            : your website or blog keywords on search engine (separate with coma per word)

Important  : Maybe need 48 hours to take effect.
